Existing Group & Public Water System Services
We can offer testing, maintenance, retrofit/rehabilitation, water treatment, and low yield well mitigation services to group & community water systems.
Testing, Maintenance, & Treatment Services
Many group water systems have required periodic testing & maintenance requirements. We offer bacteria & water quality testing for Group B systems that don't require a Water System Operators license. In addition, we can perform routine maintenance and contract inspection services, diagnosis and repair of problems, and retrofit older systems to newer equipment. We highly encourage the use of Well Manager systems to fix over pumping problems in low yield well group B systems.
Water Treatment
The Greater Eastside of Seattle and Everett is fairly well known for having pH & iron problems. Quite often maganese and hydrogen sulfide odors accompany the first two. All of these issues can easily be conquered in a Point of Entry treatment system for group B water systems. Usually we recommend that the system treats the water prior to entering any storage vessel, as this allows for a centralized low cost for of treatment. Additionally, using local engineering services, we can conquer problems such as arsenic, high levels of sodium, and fluoride.
Rehabilitation and Retrofit
Especially common in group systems, large demands are placed on the well and aquifer, resulting in diminished performance over time. Sometimes these systems can be kept running using newer pumping products, and at other times it is necessary to either change how the well is being used, or rehab the well & screens using a drill rig. We can perform the necessary site investigations to determine what is the best course of action for the well & water system.
