Sophisticated Well Management & Water Storage Systems

We are currently Washington's only distributor for the Well Manager systems from Reid Plumbing Products.

If you currently are having water well production problems, take a look at this system (PDF file, requires Adobe Acrobat), which is similar to the one pictured to the left. It is a 160 gallon round storage tank with a Consistent Pressure Module mounted to the tank (the picture at left shows a system with the controls & modules attached to the wall). The system uses a StaRite end-suction pump (cuts the costs on using a Patented Pump Chamber). It will store 150 gallons of usable water, manager your well, and provide consistent pressure delivery all from one easy package. The case studies below used similar systems, and Reid Plumbing Products has tons of user testimonials on their site (link below). Included in the above PDF file is an explanation of why your well may not be cutting it, how this system will address it, and an example contract/estimate.

Our Case Histories

Mr. J in Issaquah, Washington, has a 5 gallon per minute well on his city lot, left over from an old demolished house. He put the numbers together and realized that the pay back for the irrigation water for his yard was definitely there if he put in a storage system. We did the analysis and found that at 5 gallons per minute, his well could produce more than the 5000 gallons per day he could use. After more research we determined that the best installation would be a Well Manager 210CP (image on right). Using a 20 gallon per minute, 1 horse power pump, he is now watering his lawn and garden using a 24 zone controller (with only 16 zones in actual use, which allows for later expansion) and local ground water, all of which is keeping his utility bills low.

Mr. O, of Kirkland, Washington was building his vacation cabin in Baring, Washington. He contracted with us to drill his well, which went to 150 feet and produced 2 gallons per minute flowing from the top of the well. He then built his well house, in which we installed a Herculan Consta-Boost with a low pressure solenoid fill valve. The system automatically fills whenever the tanks begins to be pumped, and the 1 HP pump provides plenty of water for the vacationing family. With 200 gallons of storage, he doesn't have to worry about running out of water. The best thing - there's no pump in the well, the system is entirely fed by the natural artesian pressure available in the area.

Mr. S of Redmond, Washington just started building his new home. We drilled his well to 60 feet and discovered a formation capable of producing 16 gallons per minute. However, the local jurisdiction required a fire sprinkler system be installed in the home that could consume up to 36 gallons per minute for at least 10 minutes! Combined with the planned irrigation system and the families water consumption (the master shower took 20 GPM), the 16 GPM flow rate wasn't going to come anywhere near what was actually required. We installed three 210 gallon tanks using the Herculan Consta Boost system, constructed a manifold system, and used a duplex set of 20 GPM pumps. The system will store up to 200 gallons of treated water for the residence and will automatically reserve an additional 360 galllons specifically for the fire system. Additionally, the well pump will directly feed the irrigation at 12 GPM, and serve as an extra standby pump for the fire sprinkler system, in case one of the storage pumps should fail. All this equipment is installed in the utility room and takes a space that is approximately 10 feet long, by 3 feet wide.
